About the Author
Michael Morpurgo's novels for children have made him one of the most popular and critically acclaimed writers of his generation. He is the winner of the Red House Children's Book Award, the Whitbread Children's Book of the Year and the Nestle Smarties Book Prize and has been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal. True worth while read

Out of the ashes is a very sad but true book. I think all people should read this book is teach awareness on this horribly disease and the tall it take on farmer. I am from a farm and this would be horribly if it happen. A great read.
