Unnecessary publication.

Pretty pictures and that's about it. A touchy-feely contrived mystic about food in general. If you need this encouragement, that's fine. But it's not really a cook book. There are tons of similar information at the library or online.
The feng shui of food is also readily available. The photography of food is everywhere!

Denise Linn's signature charm and joy de vivre spring forth from the pages, and her daughter Meadow brings fresh warmth and enthusiasm to this compendium of yummy, wholesome recipes and wise mystic insight.

Recipes for a great life!

I have always loved Denise Linn's books, as she writes from the heart, is down to earth and yet incredibly wise about life. I have had the pleasure of training with her personally and participating at retreats at her ranch in CA. This book is one she wrote with her amazingly talented daughter Meadow. And I was blessed to have many scrumptious meals created by Meadow while at the ranch. The fact that they teamed up to create a book about the energy of food is exactly what is needed in this world!
Rather than a focus on calories or carbs or other restrictions, this book celebrates the energy of food. The nutritious and delicious recipes are easy to make, and the concepts of how to prepare the energy filled food (through kitchen feng shui, invoking your kitchen angels and oh so much more) make the creation of meals a sacred act! And I have experienced how foods made in the way taste better, and are more satisfying!
In addition, this book is STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS!! The format is a banquet for the eyes, and really encourages the non-chef in you to make something beautiful to eat, and served in a sensuous and sacred setting, creates food that is enjoyed on many levels.
If you are looking to experience life force chi at a deeper level, you need this book!
I can't wait for the Food Network to ask them to do a Mystic Cooking show!!
